Grill sirloin tip steak until medium rare. To grill sirloin tip steak, preheat a gas grill to medium-high. Place the steak directly on the grill grate. Grill the steak for 3 minutes per side. Remove the steak from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes. Slice the steak against the grain. Serve immediately.
