I love eating sticky rice because it’s healthy and delicious.
However, sometimes it gets cold before I get to eat it.
So, I was wondering if there was a way to reheat it without having to cook it first.
In this article I explain you four different ways to reheat sticky rice.
A note on my experiment
I tested four methods of reheating sticky rice. Method 1 was heating the rice in a pan on stovetop. Method 2 was heating the rice in the microwave oven. Method 3 was heating the rice in an electric rice cooker. And method 4 was heating the rice in hot water. Method 1: Heated in a Pan This method works well if you have enough space in your kitchen to set up a pan. It takes about 10 minutes to heat the rice. But if you don’t have enough space, it will take longer to heat the rice.
Reheating sticky rice in the microwave
Heating sticky rice in the Microwave Oven It took me about 5 minutes to heat the rice in the microwave. I used a glass bowl because I didn’t want to break any ceramic bowls. Reheating Sticky Rice in an Electric Rice Cooker Answer: Reheating Sticky Rice In An Electric Rice Cooker It took me about 15 minutes to heat the rice using the electric rice cooker. I used a glass jar instead of a ceramic bowl because I didn‘t want to break any other ceramic bowls. Reheat Sticky Rice in Hot Water Answer: Reheat Sticky Rice In Hot Water It took me about 20 minutes to heat the rice with hot water. I used a glass bottle instead of a ceramic bowl.
How to reheat sticky rice in the microwave:
